      @googlefonts @TiroTypeworks @axis_praxis @OhBendy @PixelAmbacht @dberlow My bad phrasing. Following from the definition of PD, all variable fonts are parametric design. Your param. axes are designed in the same way the Weight axis is . They are not more parametric. They are just good design.

    @googlefonts @TiroTypeworks @axis_praxis @OhBendy @PixelAmbacht @dberlow Not to mention that - for example - stem thickness axes can be composed from more axes, yet. So they are not even atomic as I previously said. I still don’t see the reason for calling them parametric and I find it confusing. We do want clarity, right?
